Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Ivory Cotton and Silk Poet Blouse by Tom Ford F/W 2002 (FR36)
Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Ivory Cotton and Silk Poet Blouse by Tom Ford F/W 2002 (FR36)
Presenting an Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche ivory silk and cotton blouse designed by Tom Ford. A black variation of this blouse debuted on model, Mariacarla Boscono in the Fall/Winter 2002 runway presentation (photo credit: Antoine de Parseval). Featuring ballooning bell sleeves with laced bows, pointed collar with button front closure. Sleeves are quite long so you can puff them up and lace them bondage style.
"Tom Ford is very, very good at being wicked. The designer was in an adult-erotic frame of mind at Yves Saint Laurent, taking potential clichés such as black satin ribbon, taffeta, velvet, chantilly lace and fur and applying them in an offhand way to extravagant, body-emphasizing pieces that often looked as if they might fall off at the slightest pull of a bow. What, after all, could be more provocative than a woman wearing expensive clothes that look as if they were made to be undone by a lover?" Credit: Vogue Runway.
